About Zeelust
Zeelust is located in Burgh-Haamstede, tucked away between the dunes and the forest. No busy boulevard, no queues for a table—just a place you can settle into the moment you walk in.
Stop by for a coffee after a beach walk, stay for dinner, or join us in the evening with no expectations placed on you. At Zeelust, you don't need to be anything other than yourself: take a seat and we'll take care of the rest.
Who we are
At Zeelust, we enjoy working with people who genuinely care that you have a great time. You'll notice it in the way we welcome you, help you choose from the menu, and remember that you sat by the window last time. Hospitality isn't a slogan on our website—it's simply how we do things.
From 11 to 9
We're open every day from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Early enough for your first coffee of the day, late enough for a drink while the sun disappears behind the trees.
Walk-ins are always welcome. Prefer to guarantee a table? A reservation only takes a moment.

DINING AT OUR TERRACE, LATE AFTERNOON
Most terraces here are either right on the beach or in the middle of town. Zeelust sits somewhere in between—and that's exactly the point. On one side are the dunes of the Kop van Schouwen; on the other, the forest, where the scent of pine trees blends with the salty sea air. It's quieter than the Renesse seafront and greener than you'd expect from a seaside destination.
Come after a walk through the forests of Westenschouwen, hop off your bike after exploring the dunes, or simply use us as the starting point for a day in the Kop van Schouwen region. Whenever you're ready to sit down, enjoy a meal, and unwind, we'll be here.
Where many beach clubs watch the sun set into the sea, we watch it sink behind the trees. Just as beautiful—and a lot more peaceful.

We have been coming here with the dogs for quite a few years now! As soon as we step onto the terrace, the dogs know what to expect: it's cookie time! We always enjoy coming to Zeelust for the cozy atmosphere and the delicious food. And a nice chat with our grey friend from beautiful Breda is always on the cards! So definitely recommended and a dog-friendly brasserie 😊

Wat hebben wij hier lekker gegeten! Alle voor-, bij- en hoofdgerechten waren niet alleen een feestje om te zien, het smaakte allemaal fantastisch. Een hele leuke avond gehad, mede door het attente en vriendelijke personeel. De ligging is ook top, de ene kant het strand op, de andere kant het bos in. Wij komen hier zeker terug!

Sehr schön eingerichtet der Außenbereich (drin war ich nicht), einen Punkt Abzug fürs Ambiente da direkt am Kreisverkehr. Lage aber direkt am Deich, nur über die Treppe, schon ist man am Meer. Bedienung war sehr nett, das Essen und die Getränke waren schnell da. Ich hatte leckeren Fish&Chips und zum Nachtisch den Weckpot, Eis mit heißen Kirschen im Einweck-Glas. Leider kann ich diesen Urlaub nicht wieder kommen, da donnerstags geschlossen und es am Freitag heim geht. Ich werde aber wieder kommen.

De locatie vlakbij het strand is geweldig, de bediening was zeer vriendelijk en meedenkend en de sfeer ademde zee. Het eten was heerlijk
